Descrizione dell'intervento

L’intervento prevede il recupero di alcune vie situate all’interno del centro Storico, in particolare vicolo delle Chiavi (mq 300), vicolo Fracassini (mq 55) e vicolo Ciaspini (mq 80). Si inserisce all’interno di un più ampio progetto di riqualificazione del centro storico cittadino e delle aree ad esso limitrofe (più specificatamente la parte ovest del centro, lato stazione ferroviaria) con l’intento di potenziare e migliorare le infrastrutture a servizio del Centro Commerciale Naturale, rivitalizzare il centro e valorizzare la sua naturale funzione di “centro di aggregazione sociale” e cuore del commercio. Il progetto prevede il recupero sia funzionale sia estetico dei tre vicoli con il rinnovo dei sottoservizi e la riqualificazione degli spazi. In vicolo delle Chiavi e in vicolo Ciaspini la pavimentazione in pietra sarà mantenuta e la tessitura resterà inalterata. Fondamentale in vicolo delle Chiavi sarà la valorizzazione delle tracce murarie rinvenute durante i saggi archeologici conoscitivi (sarà ricostruita fedelmente in superficie l’impronta delle stesse mura). Per quanto riguarda vicolo Fracassini l’intervento porterà al rifacimento del piano viabile e di tutto quanto lo caratterizza.

L’intervento è il terzo di tre distinti lotti funzionali del progetto più ampio di riqualificazione del centro storico cittadino.

Description of the operation:

The intervention involves the recovery of some streets located within the historical center, in particular Chiavi alley (300 square meters), Fracassini alley (55 square meters) and Ciaspini alley (80 square meters). It is part of a broader redevelopment project of the historic city center and of the areas adjacent to it (more specifically the western part of the center, on the railway station side) with the aim of enhanceing and improving the infrastructures serving the Shopping Center Natural, revitalize the center and enhance its natural function as a "center of social aggregation" and the heart of commerce. The project involves the functional and aesthetic recovery of the three alleys with the renewal of the underground services and the redevelopment of the spaces. In Keys alley and in Ciaspini alley the flooring in stone will be maintained and the weaving will remain unchanged. Fundamental in Keys alley will be the enhancement of the traces found during the archaeological cognitive essays (it will be faithfully reconstructed on the surface the imprint of the walls themselves). As for Fracassini alley, the intervention will lead to the rebuilding of the viable plan and everything that characterizes it.
The intervention is the third of three distinct functional lots of the broader redevelopment project of the historic city center.
